Southern brunch destination Biscuit Love was built on a dream to serve Nashville delicious biscuits, baked with love. What started in 2012 with a bag of flour and an Airstream food truck is today one of America’s most beloved family-owned restaurants, with lines of biscuit lovers snaking out the door and around the corner on a daily basis at all five locations. Husband and wife team Karl and Sarah Worley will share a look into how they’ve worked together to grow a restaurant that not only has made an impact on the community but also offers Southern staples that have locals and travelers coming back again and again.
During this biscuit-making demonstration and dining experience, guests will learn how to make Biscuit Love’s legendary sky-high biscuits from scratch. They will share their tips and tricks and showcase the secrets behind their tender and flaky biscuits that have more buttery layers than you can count.

About Karl and Sarah Worley:
Karl and Sarah Worley founded Biscuit Love in 2012 with a food truck and a dream to serve Nashville delicious biscuits baked with love. Three years later, they opened their first brick-and-mortar Biscuit Love location in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood. Since then, three additional locations have opened in some of Middle Tennessee’s most bustling neighborhoods–Hillsboro Village, historic downtown Franklin, and the most recent opening in summer 2023, located within Franklin’s Berry Farms Town Center. Biscuit Love’s first out-of-state expansion officially opened just outside of Birmingham, AL in December 2022.
Upon opening Biscuit Love, Karl and Sarah prioritized implementing employee-care practices that went well beyond industry standard. The Worleys are passionate about the importance of sustainable employee-care models and have prioritized employee well-being far beyond the industry standard upon opening their first restaurant.

Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.

Reservation Policy:

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund.
