Acclaimed pastry chef Natasha Pickowicz is well-known for her delectable desserts, but the James Beard Award nominee is getting in touch with her savory side for an evening celebrating her Chinese heritage and Lunar New Year. Chef Pickowicz will lead a cooking demonstration and share all about the beloved Chinese hot pot, a meaningful dish connected to her family traditions and home. Guests will be served recipes representing the Lunar New Year and have the chance to learn about and enjoy tastings of Ming River Sichuan baijiu, an exceptionally made traditional Chinese grain spirit.

Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
